Hey guys, as most of you already know, 11th of January is a very special day for us! It is our birthday and today InspireTheme turns 4 :)

Every year, on this date, we publish a blog post in which we make a recap of what we have done the last 12 months. Well, this year we will be short - as you know, we have not done much.
Actually, we did exactly what we announced on our previous birthday. We were, and we still are, patiently waiting for Joomla 4 to be released so we can focus all our attention, effort and energy back in InspireTheme :)

Guys, the whole Joomla industry is on standby. Almost all Joomla companies are waiting for Joomla 4 to be released so they can start operating on full speed again.

So, what are our plans for 2020?

Release the Joomla 4 version of our templates - as we said an year ago, this is our main priority. Once Joomla 4 is released we will need a month or two to release the Joomla 4 version of all our templates. This blog post describes everything in details - it is perfectly relevant eventhough it was published in March 2018 :)

Switch to UIkit v4 - yep, you read it right, UIkit v4 not UIkit v3 :)
Last year we explained why we need to release the Joomla 4 version of our templates first and then do the switch to UIkit v3. Well, I am really happy that we waited and did not rush it, because... the guys at YOOTheme who develop the UIkit framework recently announced that UIkit v4 is coming! It will be released very soon, most probably in the next couple of months. Once UIkit v4 is released, we will need about two months to update all our products.

Start releasing new products again - yep, you can expect us to start releasing new products from June/July 2020 :)
First we will release the Joomla 4 version of all our templates, then we will do the switch to UIkit v4 and then... then we will start releasing new products again!
