We are proud to announce the release of our very first, Gantry 5 based template - Oxygen! It is designed to be an excellent fit for a wide range of websites but mostly for business, corporate and portfolio ones.
The name "Oxygen" was choosen for a reason. Since it is our first Gantry 5 template, we decided to make it as clean, flexible and optimized as possible, because a very big part of it will be used as a base, as a starting point for almost all of our future templates. This means that almost all of the features and particles you see in Oxygen will be available in all of our Gantry 5 powered templates and themes! And as everything on earth starts with it, we decided to call it "Oxygen" :)
Built on Gantry 5
Gantry 5 is the most flexible and powerful theming framework in the industry today. Built for tomorrow's Internet, Gantry 5 is packed with features that take advantage of the latest Web technologies. A drag-and-drop Layout Manager which makes it super easy to change the layout of your site, an incredibly powerful Menu Editor for advanced menu customizations (including module and particle injection), an awesome Particle system and many other features that give users the ability to quickly assemble and customize their site with no programming experience required.
UIkit Framework naturally integrated
UIkit is a lightweight and modular front-end framework for developing fast and powerful web interfaces. It comes with a wide range of reusable and combinable components. All UIkit classes are namespaced, so they won't interfere with other frameworks and extensions you might be using.
We integrated UIkit in the core of Oxygen which gives users amazing freedom and possibilities. You can now easily create modals, lightboxes, tooltips, sticky/fixed elements, parallax effects and many other cool things!
OnScroll Animations with ScrollReveal.js
ScrollReveal.js is a library to "easily reveal elements as they enter the viewport." It’s very small in size, as its weight is roughly 9Kb. It has no dependencies, so you don’t need to add other libraries to use it. In addition to the nice effects it supports, what you will really love about this library is that you can use natural language to define the animation you want to run:

Customize eveything you want
The back end of Oxygen is also exceedingly easy to use. Options for just about everything related to your theme can be accessed with ease. Want to change the background color for a section? Just give the field a click and either enter the color code of your choice or pick a new one using Gantry 5's Color Picker.
The brand new Particle System
Gantry5 comes with a brand new Particle system which makes it easy to create, configure, and manage content blocks. Basically, everything that you would create a Custom HTML module for is now coded in to a particle. You no longer need to copy/paste long HTML codes and edit them, you just need to click here and there and fill out fields in the Admin.
We will not mention all custom particles we built for Oxygen in this blog post, because if we do so, this article might turn into a small book :) Just check the Oxygen's documentation for more details.
