Support Forum

Hi all,

I have a question. As I'm using the Elemento template, I'm only using modules and just 1 or 2 articles.
Now, I would like to link from a module (a button) on the home page to a module that is in another menu root item. The module I would like to link to, is the third one on that page, in the position 'parallax2'. What I would like to be the result is that when a visitor clicks the button in the module on the home page, the module in the other menu root item, third position from the top, appears at the top of the page. It's like a 'scroll into view function' I figured out, but then incorporated in a link. I already tried with "a href..." and "a name..." (anchor), but this didn't work.

I also tried to do this with a jQuery function in the href tag (not working), and after that I created a Hidden menu, in which I added an item (Make article), and assigned the module to that item. It has id=155, so a placed my link like index.php?Itemid=155. But then the link goes to the module on a page with only the module, not that kind of jump to the 3rd module on the existing page.

I hope that I succeeded in explaining my issue ;-)

Does anyone know how to do this?

With kind regards,
Stefan
