I use GTmetrix to fine-tune my websites for maximum optimization to achieve a PageSpeed score greater than 80 which I have done on all of my client websites.
I just redesign my own Webbering.com website which is now live and was working on optimizing the website. I was stunned at the really bad scores and page load times.
Comparison of with the video background atom and without the video background as well as the resources that could not be loaded are attached (I couldn't insert as the pop-up entry of the URL for images goes away before I can even hover over it to enter the URL).
If this atom could be modified to load the video from the website, that would eliminate a ton of problems and improve performance.
If the atom can use a local video by using the full URL, that would be good to know as the Usage video only shows for YouTube videos.
