If you are familiar with the incredibly awesome Gantry 5 Framework you will most probably look for some nice, properly coded particles that will bring additional functionality to your website. And this is what this blog post is all about - awesome, FREE, Gantry 5 particles :)
Since "sharing means caring" we decided to release some of the particles we developed for free! Most of the below particles are based on the UIkit Frawework and installing them on your Gantry 5 powered website is really a piece of cake!
Some might say that loading the UIkit CSS and JS will add additional weight to your website and they will be right - loading it will add about 190KB to your website, less that the size of an image, of one image, and you probably have tens, if not hundreds of images on your website.
So, what exactly is a particle - particles make it easy to create, configure, and manage content blocks. Basically, everything that you would create a Custom HTML module for is now coded in to a particle. You no longer need to copy/paste long HTML codes and edit them, you just need to click here and there and fill out fields in the Admin. And since the Gantry 5 Framework is totally platform independent, all of the below particles will work out of the box on Joomla, Wordpress and Grav!

The "OnePage Menu" particle display a vertical menu that gets sticky/fixed when the user starts scrolling. And the page gets smoothscrolled to the particular sections when a menu item is clicked.
