I created a subdomain: docs.vcrma.org as an alternative to having over 3 gigs (and growing) of pdf's on our site: testsite.vcrma.org. Our site maintainers will be using JCE Editor and would like to update articles and then to upload new PDF files linked in the articles to: docs.vcrma.org and not to the images folder within testsite.vcrma.org. To make it easy on the site maintainers, I would like them to be able to maintain the articles and upload files through the same JCE Editor/File Manager interface.
Is there a way to upload and access pdf's that are located outside of the site using the current Joomla site file system?
