Language Switcher

Hi Ivo

I know that you don't like questions about customization but most of your answers in this forum are about customization. Your profound knowledge of - to quote Douglas Adams - Joomla, Templates, Life, the Universe and Everything is my last resort,

I tried for hours using my custom.scss and reverse engineering of the mod_languages php code and other css files to adopt the look and feel of the Joomla Language Switcher to my Milano layout. I got as far as the attached 1.tiff but I would prefer my other Menu layouts as in 2.tiff with the Milano touch and feel.

I even thought about a Joomla template override of mod_languages but I do not know what classes I would have to use. And I don't know what happens to the overrides it I update the Milano template.

Any help would really be very much appreciated.

Kind regards

Alexander
