My attempt to erect ad banner on the left side banner failed as it starts to overlap with page content when a browser window is shrined. See attachment. The banner is placed on a

sidebar-left

position using a following custom module code:

When placing the above banner code on the

sidebar-right

position the overlap does not occur as the banner nicely pushes the main text until it disappears.

Can you please provide some solution to this issue?
