I know this issue has been discused a lot but sorry I can't make it worked

I installed the pure Milano template in a fresh joomla installation and i need to have the slider behind the menu as in quickstart but I can't achieve it.

I created a Home-m layout from Default, assigned it to Home page and changed the Header style to transparent and added g-absolute-header class to the Header section in the layout but I don't see an results.

I studied the relevant documentation "Home layout" of Milano but I am sure I miss something

Could you please help a bit
