I have installed the News Pro particle and tried to come up with a layout that looks like the one on your sample page.
However I was not able to align the image on the right or on the left like you can see in example 2 on the
http://demo.inspiretheme.com/particles/index.php/particles/news-pro
page.
I have tried to change the parameter horizontal / vertical on article layout but that does not bring up any changes for me, even after flushing my cache multiple times.
I have Joomla 3.8 and latest gantry5.
The ulkit is activated.
