I have been 'Inspired' by your PayPal donation particle and want to add it to a archaeological (non-profit) Joomla website I'm currently building. The website is built on a non-Inspire, Gantry 5 commercial template. That already has a 'JL PayPal button' that doesn't appear to have as much functionality as the Inspire particle.
I have tried to install the Inspire version particle 'PayPal-donate', following the instructions to your response to a question regarding adding the 'Gallery' particle, adding the appropriate paypal-donate twig, yaml and scss files to the appropriate custom folders. When I've tried to load the website (on my own localhost test server, but not on an online version, currently about to go live which is online), however, I get an error message, even before I load the Home page:
'An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("ERROR: CSS Compilation on file 'custom.scss' failed on error: Undefined variable $content-padding: templates/jl_logan/custom/scss/_paypal-donate.scss on line 2, at column 2 Call Stack: #0 import templates/jl_logan/custom/scss/_paypal-donate.scss templates/jl_logan/custom/scss/custom.scss on line 2 #1 import templates/jl_logan/custom/scss/custom.scss (unknown file) on line 2").'
According to my 'Base outline' page settings, I have Uikit3 for Gantry active on the website. I have consulted your YouTube video 'Gantry 5 - Installing a Particle on Joomla' and notice that your Uikit atom is shown as 'Uikit for Gantry 5' and further is Uikit Version 2.25.0 'Developed and maintained by Inspire Theme.com'. The Uikit for my template, however, shows Uikit CSS Framework Version 2.2.10 by Joomlead (the designers of my template). I don't want to go down the road of changing my template to one that you have developed, if I don't have to, but can you explain why the Inspire particle isn't working? Is it due to the wrong version of the Uikit Atom? If so, how can I replace it (and more importantly, where, amongst all the files within the template folder tree, can I find the definition(s) or files that go to make up the Uikit)?
It would be a shame if I can't use your particular particle as it has much more functionality than the one provided by Joomlead, although, as I suggest, I already have a suitable and working template set up for my website.
Thanks for your support.
