I was wondering if there is any way to set up the gallery particle to display on the front-end only a single image (or a few images) but then, when clicking to open a lightbox, it actually display a series of images.
My idea is really relevant when there is a gallery with dozens or even hundreds of images which you don't want to show on the front-end (to optimise load time or reduce the length of the page) but you want to have a gallery display when in Lightbox mode.
What I am referring to is something similar to the Simple image gallery without captions visible on http://hunyadi.info.hu/levente/en/sigplus/demo
