Each new feature should be documented on the documentation wiki by the developers involved to provide all information to users as well as helping 3rd party developers to integrate a feature to their extensions. Each page should have the following code inserted at the end: [[Category:Joomla! 4.x]] where the x is replaced with the version.2.9
Documentation Help Screens
The documentation help screens are based on a full major release series. As such, all of the help screens will require updates for Joomla! 4.0. In addition to the required updates, there is an idea proposal for a potential GSoC project to work on a new system to manage the screenshots; even if the project does not happen as part of GSoC the effort will continue otherwise.

Hi Marco,
There is really no rush to update anything.
You can stay on v4.3.4 for as long as you want.
My advice is to do the following:
1. Wait until Gantry 5.5.17 is released and install it.
2. Wait until Joomla 5.0.1 or even 5.0.2 or 5.0.3 are released so some of the obvious bugs are fixed.
3. Only then update your website to Joomla 4.4.4 (which is a prerequisite for updating to Joomla 5).
4. Then update to Joomla 5.x

2. Wait until Joomla 5.0.1 or even 5.0.2 or 5.0.3 are released so some of the obvious bugs are fixed.

4. Then update to Joomla 5.x

Hello everyone.
As mentioned in a previous post, I have updated to version 5.x. Everything seems fine at first glance; I've only noticed minor display issues with Font Awesome, but nothing serious.
Now, I'd like to highlight a broader issue concerning IT products that affects J5 in general.
The native administration theme automatically adapts to the settings of the browser or the user's device (in my case, dark mode). I've observed that many elements of Gantry, including IT particles, don't properly adapt to dark mode. Please be aware that this issue could apply to any extension. Read this article.
It would be advisable to suggest to the Gantry developers to consider optimizing this graphical aspect to ensure better adaptability to dark mode. This could significantly enhance the user experience and make Gantry more versatile.

I have a only test webspace, a space when I can test everything (and make disasters
) without problems.
I installed Joomla 4.4.0 (in a test website based on Oxygen Template) and everything worked fine at first attempt.
After updating Joomla! to 4.4.0 version, I asked my hosting provider to switch MySql database version from 5.7.x to 8.x. They switched and now I have a database compatibile with Joomla! 5. This is a very important thing.
I suggest everyone to be sure to chek your version MySql database, because 5.7.x it's not compatibile with Joomla! 5

Actually, I don't have time to test Nightly Build, I'm very sorry.
I don't have any urgence to upgrade from Joomla! 4x to Joomla! 5, so I will wait the official release of Gantry 5.5.17.
Now another question for you: it's necessary to update actual websites (based on Joomla! 4.3.4) on Joomla! 4.4.4 version (that probably will be realeased tomorrow) or, due that updates seem to be only preparatory to upgrade to Joomla! 5.0, it's better waiting for a version (for example) named Joomla! 4.3.5?

Hi Marco,
All our products (both templates and particles) are fully compatible with Joomla 5
But you cannot update yet, because you need to wait for Gantry v5.5.17 to be released (you will find more details here).
However, you can use the current Gantry Nightly Build, which works on Joomla 5
