Hi Ivo,
On the forum I found your post where you are writing that you are currently using to optimize "jch optimize" for your templates. I'm planning to buy a pro version of this plugin, could you put a post on the blog how do you propose to configure this add-on to work with your templates. I mean something like the article you wrote for RokBooster.

Hi Dominic,

There's really nothing specific about configuring JCH Optimize in our templates.
Apart from the JCH Optimize documentation, I'm attaching a screenshot that shows how we have configured the plugin in our template demos.
We use the default settings almost everywhere. Just under the Basic Options tab we have selected "Premium".

JCH Optimize just does the things that Google recommends.
Some of the things that Google recommends can be done with an extension (JCH Optimize, RokBooters, etc.). But there are other things that should be done on the server (mostly in the .htaccess file). For more details, please have a look at this blog post.

Every website gets different scores on Google Page Speed. It depends on the server optimization, on the extensions that are being used, on the images that are being loaded on the page, etc.
You should really install and configure JCH Optimize and see what the scores with and without it are.

Here, have a look at this video that I recorded for you. It shows the scores of our Royalty template with and without JCH Optimize.

I have read this post before and of course all the steps described there will apply. Thanks for showing in the film the difference for the pro version. The free version of the add-on that I tested is a bit worse. Thanks again
