Problem with the coupon code

Hi Ivo,
I want to renew our subscription, however it says that I've already used the coupon code ITBDAY25.
I haven't used it but had a problem with the VAT-nr and now it says that the code is used.
Can you please fix it for our account?

Hi Björn,

Let me explain why this happens so the other users know as well :)

You have clicked on the "Renew" button, which has generated a new invoice.
Then you have added the promo code in this invoice.
Then, for some reason, you have left the Checkout page. But the generated invoice is still in the system and the promo code is marked as used.
So, if you try to renew again, another invoice will be generated but the promo code will no longer be valid for you (as it is being used in the previous invoice, even though it has not been paid).

Anyway, the solution is that I delete the invoice that you have created (where you have added the promo code).
I just did it so you should be able to use the promo code again (in only one invoice!) :)

    Hello Ivo,
    seems that I have the same problem.
    I had to reload the page because of the VAT Code wasn´t accepted and also the submit button is still inactive.

    Please can you also clear my invoices from today?

    Hey Sebastian,

    I just deleted the invoices that were generated.
    You should be able to use the promo code again (in just one invoice).
    Make sure that you use Google Chrome or Firefox (and not Safari) so there are no issues with the Checkout process.

    Hi Sebastian,

    The button is not clickable because the VAT No. field is invalid.

    Our website connects to the VIES website in order to check if a given VAT Number is valid or not.
    So, if your VAT Number validates properly on the VIES website, it should work fine on our website as well.
    The VIES website experience some outages from time to time and I guess this has been the issue.
    I just tried to purchase a subscription via our website, by using your VAT No, and it was validated properly.
    So just try again - when you enter your VAT No. click somewhere on the page so the input is not focused. That's how it will send a request to the VIES website.
    Then wait for 2-3 seconds and the field should get validated (it should not be in red).

    P.S. I just deleted this invoice so you can use the promo code again.
