I'm a few months behind and can't find anything about this. The original article on joomla.org announcing the implementation warned about testing in a sandbox first. This was published back in 2017 for 3.8. We are now in 3.8.10. Are there still bugs? Are we safe to just click "Modern"? #scared #infetalpositionunderdesk

As far as I know it is safe to use the new router.
But to be 100% sure, please open a new discussion in the official Joomla forum where you will get a more detailed and accurate answer
